Not babies anymore...

Braden and Gavin are really growing up...19 months old already.  So, I decided that it was finally time to get their first haircuts (Ian had been wanting to do it for a while).  Ian had Monday off, so we decided that was the best day to do it.  Especially since it is so hot here, having less hair would help them stay cool.  Gavin HATED it.  Braden was fine, just got a bit bored toward the end. (He had more hair to cut, too.)

What is that?!?!

I don't want to be a dinosaur!!!

Mommy's phone makes it bearable.

At least its still red.
Bye Bye Curls.

Being a dinosaur is no big deal.

Hmmm, not so sure I like this.

Hanging out.

I'm a big boy now.  (Mommy misses the curls)

  1. Handome boys! My twins were 19 months old when we moved to Oz and, having just turned 3, I look back and think they were still such babies when we got here, so your title struck a chord with me! Do your 3 have Aussie accents yet? Ours totally do and it's hilarious. Abby even referes to her meals as "tea time" and calls her undies, "knickers"!

    1. B&G aren't really talking, yet, but I expect they will. Jamie definitely does! Rubbish bins, no Rs in words, Mummy, tea time, to-mah-to. Its hilarious to listen to him.

  2. They are SOOOO cute. I can't believe how you and your husband each got a twin! I mean that Gavin looks just like his dad - and the pic of Braden smiling looks JUST like you! Adorable - even without the curls (although I sooo get missing the baby curls).

  3. Thanks so much for these lovely photos. What beautiful children - but I am biased!
Gavin evidently didn’t see the joke with the clippers! He’ll be better next time I expect. Yes, I liked the curls also. Interesting how the red genes didn’t come up with my mother. I was so blonde that they called me whitey, but I wasn’t even nearly as good looking as these two (and Jamie)

    Love,
